Welcome to this portfolio of work. Each original piece involves many steps using origami (paper folding), kirigami (paper cutting), or chigiri-e (torn paper). Natural elements such as bamboo and leaves are real and preserved with acrylic colors. Paint strokes and graceful metallic threads add movement to each original collage. Since inventory changes frequently please contact Michele for availability - or let’s design a custom piece for home, weddings, announcements, commemorations and much more.
